This is a gem of a restaurant. The food was cooked by the chefs to an incredible standard and the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. In addition quality of the cooking, the portion sizes are really generous. I had the risotto and duck for the main and both dishes were fabulous. Fantastic experience and will be back!

Intimate restaurant with excellent service and outstanding food. I've had lunch here a few times and never been disappointed. I'd recommended the "small plates" option for lunch - the portions are easily a normal portion size. Shared the bread navettes with salted duck butter and the cod brandade with shrimp and crackers - piping hot, spicy, and utterly lovely. The Cajun seafood chowder with homemade corn bread was a revelation - sweet and spicy and pack with fish and mussels, a delight. No room for pudding - the portions are generous. Also offer some decent wine on tap by the glass and carafe, as well as an extensive wine list for bottles. Art lining the walls is eclectic and offbeat adding to the generally convivial atmosphere. The food is incredible - well presented, fresh, and comforting with flavor profiles that are complex and interesting, but not too “far out there”, if that makes sense. It’s such a cozy ambiance inside as well!! Kind of makes you want to read a book and take a nap afterward. Service is also incredibly on point. Attentive but does not hover too much. The space is very limited inside the restaurant, making it a tight squeeze to get in and out of the tables - but that actually adds to the ambiance and cozy feeling.

A true hidden gem for authentic local cuisine! Everything was incredibly delicious, I especially loved the cajun seafood chowder, served with crispy, freshly baked focaccia - absolutely yum! It’s a small, cozy place, which only adds to the charm, but definitely make a reservation in advance. The atmosphere is warm and intimate - perfect for a relaxed, memorable meal.

Absolutely stunning food. So delicious and a feast for your eyes. Packed with flavor every dish. Loved having Paulina as our server. Five stars all the way. Can’t recommend enough. Don’t be dumb and not make a reservation. They were turning so many people away at the door. It’s a tiny place. Treat yourself to an amazing meal and listen to the great music they play.

Dinner at The Vintage Kitchen in Dublin was easily one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world. Warm, intimate, and effortlessly welcoming. I started with the House Churned Bluebell Falls Goat’s Cheese tart with apricot jam, clementine, tomato, and olive, while Taylor had the Cajun Seafood Chowder with baked bread, absolutely incredible. My main was the Seared Organic Salmon with shrimp, daikon salad, truffle jus, and Maris Piper potatoes, and Taylor’s Seabass with Asian emulsion, west coast cockles, mussels, lump caviar, and sprouting broccoli was exceptional. We finished by sharing the Set Lemon Crème with poppyseed and house mango sorbet, the perfect ending to the evening. The restaurant was fully booked with walk-ins being turned away all night, yet the staff still made us feel completely welcomed and unrushed. A truly special Dublin experience.

We loved our experience at this small, very intimate restaurant! The owner was our chef for dinner tonight, and you could tell that the food had his personal touch to it. Seating is limited, and they intend it that way. It is quite a unique atmosphere here! Standout things we tried were: the navettes of bread with duck butter (delicious!) and the prawn risotto (packed with flavor!). Our servers there were outstanding and we enjoyed talking with them about the story of the place. Very highly recommend visting here!

What I liked: The service from our Maitre'D and the pretty waitress was top class - well done! The food was excellent : tasty, flavoursome and plenty of it. The wine was nice and suited to the courses I ate. Value for money : at 72 Euro per person for a gut busting three-courser, I consider it money well spent. I observed the head chef wanting and expecting excellence from his kitchen team which was reflected in the excellent food delivery. What I didn't like: Although the background music was sounds of the 60's - 90's (hummable classics), it didn't quite blend with the atmosphere and I'd have preferred nothing at all. A watch out, the restaurant is bijou and feels tight when full. There is also only one shared toilet. Overall a great experience, one I am very happy with and one I can gladly recommend. Incredible three course menu with great variety. Prix Fixe menu with 4-5 options for all three courses. Very small restaurant with kitchen and dining areas adjacent. We had an early seating and enjoyed great service. Cool vintage decor. If anything the portions were almost too large as it was tough to finish each course. So come hungry or consider going with just a half order of dessert (four desserts for four people was a lot after the first two big courses). Overall, we loved every bite of everything we tried. 12 different dishes for four people - 4 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 4 deserts. It’s pricey but if you are a true foodie, it’s worth it. Loved the experience.
